Cords that are repeatedly detached can have the anchor point marked with a felt-tipped pen for quick re-attachment at the same hole. The same cord and pegs connect warp beam and cloth beam extenders, sectional beams and other loom parts.
Beam extenders take the heaviest loads on the loom, so use the 1/20 heavy cord here rather than the standard 1/12.
