What the Texsolv loom cord is made of, how the loops work and which cord to use where.
Machine-crocheted polyester in two parallel rows, joined every 12 mm (about ½") to form a series of button-holes. Breaking strength about 80 kg (180 lbs). The heavier 1/20 cord, joined every 20 mm (¾"), is made for beams and other heavy loads.
The loops are what make the system work: any part of the loom can be attached at any loop with a peg, and moved one loop at a time. Nothing is tied, nothing stretches, and every adjustment is repeatable to the millimetre.
