Connecting various loom parts

Connecting sectional warp beam, warp beam and cloth beam extenders with Texsolv cord and pegs: figures 8, 9 and 10 from the folder.

Suggestions on connecting various loom parts. Sectional warp beam extenders (figure 8): the cord is anchored to the beam with C, or on a hook (J) as the alternative shows, and the extender is attached at the other end with a snitch knot (S).

Warp beam and cloth beam extenders, figure 9

Warp beam and cloth beam extenders, figure 9

Left: warp beam. Right: cloth beam. The cord is fixed to the beam with the permanent connection A, and to the warp rod or cloth rod with an adjustable connection (F) or a snitch knot (S). Beam extenders take the heaviest loads on the loom, so use the 1/20 heavy cord here rather than the standard 1/12.

Variations on the same beam cords: fixed to the beam with A or C and attached to the rod with F (ALT shows the alternative), or with a snitch knot (S) on every cord.
